Villa Chalina Estate (6br)
The Chalina Estate covers 5300 square metres of land in the traditional Balinese village of Pererenan, near Canggu, on Bali’s southwest coast. The palatial six-bedroom villa, complete with a 30-metre swimming pool as its centrepiece, is comprised of seven structures in a majestic landscaped garden bordering the gentle Pangi River. The classic Balinese architecture showcases alang-alang thatched roofs, yellow ‘paras’ sandstone walls,and floors of polished terrazzo, teak and bengkirai wood.
Everything about the villa is big and beautiful, soft furnishings follow a lavender theme and stunning, colourful artwork by the owner adorns the walls. Blessed with glorious views of the rice terraces, sunsets, and on a clear day the island’s second highest volcano, the 2276-metre Mt Batukaru, the property makes a great venue for weddings and events.
Location
The Chalina Estate is located in the village of Pererenan, just one kilometre from a
rugged surf beach in the district of Canggu. This beautiful agricultural belt is home to some of the most luxurious private residences on the island.Seminyak area, with its wide choice of international restaurants – including the famous Ku De Ta’, Métis, Hu’u, La Lucciola, Sardine and Sarong – together with a plethora of chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, lavish spas and elegant boutiques, is a mere 25 minutes’ drive away. The nearby beach offers legendary sunsets and world-class surf breaks but the currents are
strong and it can be dangerous for swimming. For horse lovers, Kuda P Riding Stables is just five minutes’ drive, and Nirwana Golf Course – designed by Greg Norman and renowned as one of the best golf courses in Asia – is a 20 minute drive. The neighbouring district of Kerobokan is famous for its furniture workshops, antique shops and curio shops. The location offers easy access up to the mountains and rice terraces on the western slopes of the island; it is just over one hour’s drive from the famous cultural and artistic town of Ubud,
and just 25 minutes’ drive from the Sunset Route, gateway to the eastern side of the island.
It is also convenient for all of the shopping malls and main tourist attractions. The international airport is 60 minutes’ drive, depending on the traffic.
Features
The villa is entered via a private and secure car parking area. From here a grand doorway leads into the garden, bringing guests past lily ponds and magnificent water features and opens up with views across the lawns and massive pool to the ricefield’s beyond.
Bedrooms
The main two-storey building houses one of the guest bedrooms, the children’s room, the
master suite, and an office with a library for guest use. It runs the length of the pool and features a colonnaded walkway at the back lined with dramatic water spouts and statues within an ornamental pond. The remaining three guestrooms are housed in three, separate, self-contained pavilions positioned in the garden close to the swimming pool. The air-conditioned guest bedrooms are furnished with king-size, four poster beds and equipped
with TVs and DVD players. Dressing areas are positioned behind screen walls and the
contemporary-styled bathrooms are fitted with twin washbasins and walk-in rain showers.

Living/Dining/ Swimming Pool
There is a 250m2 open-sided living & dining pavilion, as you enter the property on the left hand side, cooled by ceiling fans and furnished with a generously-sized L-shaped sofa and ottomans around a low coffee table. An elevated section within the same pavilion presents a dining area with a long table and ten funky wicker chairs crafted in shades of purple and lavender. The swimming pool is 30m x 8 metres well and truly larger than some resort pools particularly in western countries. It sits as a centre piece to the property with an elvated platform as its centre piece ideally suited to late afternoon massages.
Kitchen
A professional, fully-equipped high grade stainless steel kitchen is situated behind the dining pavilion. The kitchen is also home to a wine cooler room. It has all the elements that are needed by your professional chef to prepare what you want from the menu’s supplied or your suggestions. If it is a special meal to be prepared than the chef will require 24hours.
Media and entertainment
There is a projector and a screen in the bar area, there is a Bose sound system throughout the property with cd/dvd player. There is 17 Staff in total
